Patrick Bertagna will be a keynote speaker at our Spring Symposium

The Safe America Foundation is pleased to announce that Patrick Bertagna will be a keynote speaker at our Spring Symposium Thursday and Friday, April 26 and 27, at the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta.

Patrick Bertagna is the CEO of GTX Corp in Los Angeles. GTX Corp— an acronym for Global Trek Xploration — was an early player in the location-tracking wearable tech market. When it was founded in 2002, as the name suggests, GTX was originally focused on outdoor adventurers, but they now operate in a much broader market: anyone looking to keep track of a person or other valuable.

In early 2015, they launched a product specifically aimed at helping caregivers keep track of their loved ones with dementia, Alzheimers Disease or other conditions that may cause a person to wander and forget how to return to their safe place. They now offer a suite of products they describe as an IoT Personal Location Services (PLS) platform.

Headquartered in Los Angeles, California, with distributors in 14 countries and customers in over 35 countries, GTX is known for its award-winning patented GPS SmartSole®.

The Spring Symposium – themed ‘Spring-into-Action!’ – will focus on key topics that are challenging our nation – and the world. “Our goal is to look at issues and determining ‘what’s next’ in terms of future efforts,” noted CEO Len Pagano. “Our mission is educating people on health and safety issues to save and protect lives,” Pagano noted.
